Based in the UK, Barbara Nicholls is a skilled Cinematographer having worked in
the film and television industry for over 30 years.
She has filmed for the BBC, Channel 4, ITV
and many international companies such as ABC,
Al Jazeera English and Discovery TV.
She has worked for mainstream production companies including
Maverick, Diverse TV, Quicksilver, Mentorn, Silver River, Brook Lapping etc.
Barbara's migration from analogue to digital
camera work ranges across still photography, Super 16mm to observational
documentaries, short dramas, commercials,
arts promos and feature films.
She has enjoyed long and rewarding working relationships with many
directors and producers having an
appreciation of those pressures herself whilst working
on assignment as shooting director
and as a documentary producer from time to time.
